Joaquin Phoenix says no to plastic surgery.
Long eyelashes, heavy eyebrows, birth scar on upper lip are the distinguishing features
on Joaquin Phoenix. So distinguishing are these features that he has turned down
plastic surgery more than once. Does this give him the sense of being an individual
and giving him notoriety in being him self? Could this be the beginning of a faddish
trend for others that have such scars as his, to enter into the realm of becoming
actors/actresses? I think Owen Wilson would agree.
Some would agree that plastic surgery to parts of the body as notable as the face would be
recommended, especially for faces that get seen by the whole world, such as famous actors.
Others believe they should stay just how God made them. But if you believe that, then
you would have to disagree with major dental work, or oral surgery, so leave those
crooked teeth alone. Steve Buscemi seemed to have believed this way throughout dozens of movies,
but even he eventually had dental work done and had those teeth straightened out.
So what is the difference really, between plastic surgery and major dental work? Morally speaking?
I guess when it comes to cosmetics, things like Liposuction, Rhinoplasty, tummy tucks,
breast implants and yes, even penis enlargement, you will have to decide for yourself.
