Did Marilyn Monroe Get a Nose Job?
Norma Jean Baker, aka Marilyn Monroe wasn't that beautiful in her youth.
It's been discussed a lot how many and just what plastic surgeries she had –
breast real? And those eyes that big? What about that perfect jawline? There is
one thing we know for sure, she had rhinoplasty to sculpt that perfect nose.
Marilyn underwent plastic surgery in 1946 when she signed a contract with
Twentieth Century-Fox Studios and an agent suggested that Norma should become
Marilyn to boost her career.
Norma Jean changed her name, bleached her hair from dark brunette to white
blonde and slipped under the knife to remove a “bulbous” nose to make it more
delicate and feminine.
Since then it has become commonplace for actors and actresses t simply change
what their producers or directors deem as unwanted. A feat that only the
well-healed of Hollywood can do.
Marilyn Monroe forever after became the template for beautiful actresses. Her
every other feature was perfection but deep inside Marilyn had an emptiness that
no surgery could fulfill.
